SCOR Module 03 · Converged Detection Engineering
Trace attack paths and enumerate the data and signal sources a defender must hold to see them.
About this course
This one-hour module is the third function of METEORSTORM (Multiple Environment Threat Exposure of Resources: Space Threats and Operational Risk to Missions). For each catalogued threat you trace how an adversary could move through the platform to realize it, then enumerate the data sources and signal sources a defender must hold to see each step, marking every source available, partial, or a gap. These are the detection methods the NIS2 Directive requires, and the honest statement of what must be collected to have them.
The session opens with a live cohort, continues through one week of asynchronous instructor support, and closes with a virtual close-out session. Each module stands alone and may be taken independently.
What is included
- One hour of live instructor led training
- Attack path mapping and a required-source inventory with coverage gaps recorded
- One week of asynchronous instructor support after the live session
- A virtual close-out session after the support week
